Don't judge me.
Anyway, I got my Cambridge Cable Pocket cardigan from J.Crew's 20% off promotion last week, and I love it! There were only size mediums left (I'm usually a XS-S), but I'm liking the loose sweater look of this size. The heather salmon color is just lovely, but it's less salmon-y and more like a bright pumpkin orange with just the slightest hint of pink. Maybe it should have been called "Bashful Pumpkin" instead. (clearly there's a reason I don't work in the 'name this color' industry)

You can see the tear on my garland cami in this picture. Sad. I'm pretty rough with my clothes.
Ohhhhhhh, those juicy bright colors put me in a good mood!
ReplyDeleteBeautiful sweater. You have such a way of putting things together! That color combination is unexpected and it totally works :)
ReplyDeleteThis is making me want to eat the grapefruit in my fridge! :D
ReplyDeletePoor silk gladiola cami. I have an old jc silk skirt that I ripped the snap buttons off one day when I was changing. whoops.
The UPS man knows my name, too. He even recognizes me in town. However, my town is small. I love that garland cami. I am still hoping that one will be available on ebay when spring rolls around again.
ReplyDeleteok im loving your outfit! im going to have to do an "inspired" outfit of this for sure! i have a yellow hammered silk blouse and a melon portland.. i think it might work out! never thought those colors would go together but oooh they do!
ReplyDeletei love it!! i want that cardi in the blush color soooo bad! i almost bought that cami. you look great! i know i did an entry for the giveaway, but it's on an old post. d i need to do it again?
ReplyDeleteLOL my UPS guy is on a first name basis with me and even makes small talk at this point. I even know where he's spending the holidays and what his route is. Sign of a problem? Hmmm.
ReplyDeleteAnyhow, love the color combo today and I need that belt!
this is one of my favorite outfits!!! I love love the colors together and that cute bow belt!
ReplyDeleteMy UPS guy in my work building knows me from all of my personal packages and always waves and talks to me even when I don't have a package. I like to think of it as stimulating the economy.
ReplyDeleteYou are not alone (as you can tell). My UPS driver and I are good friends now. I go through phases where I have 1 to 3 packages a week and others (like right now) when it may be 2 or 3 a month.
ReplyDeleteLove the garland cami on you, I noticed ATL has their version in stores now (big suprise) and that Mod Cloth Belt is a great addition, love the vintage feel it has!
Bashful Pumpkin! Love it. :) I think the only thing that keeps me from ordering more online is shipping fees. I am scroogey about that stuff. I like that belt—I've been looking for a skinny belt...
ReplyDeletelove the cardigan and the ring!
ReplyDeleteI think I always like your accesories best!
loves
Ok two things:
ReplyDelete1) we need to "talk" about your bow belt. And by talk I mean you mailing it to me as a present.
2) get that gorgeous cami to a tailor! They can totally fix that :)
The Salmon color looks so pretty on you!
ReplyDeleteLook at that bow belt..its so adorable! Girl, how do you find such stuff
Cute! I love the combo of yellow + corally pink. I'm going to pair my toffee silk cami with the new coral J Crew cardigan I had on my blog yesterday soon. So excited.
ReplyDeleteI totally feel judged by the UPS guy. He now throws the packages at the door AND doesn't ring the doorbell. HARRUMPH.
(I guess you really don't need to ring the doorbell when I get something every day, though. Heh. Oops.)
That combo is darling! I have that cami and never even thought of pairing it with that color! I have a portland cardi in a similar color and am definately going to try that out!
ReplyDeleteOh, I know about the UPS thing. Between me and my neighbor (who buys EVERYTHING online), we joke that UPS should just set up a substation on our block!!
I can never decide belt on the outside of cardigan or inside.
ReplyDeleteThese colors together are so springy and sweet.
ReplyDeleteIs it strange that I have a deep love for cable knit? I love it, and the particular cable knit you're rocking is great.
ReplyDeleteOhhhh, packages. I live in an apartment and I have to go to the front desk if UPS leaves a sticker on my door or if I get a slip in my mailbox. The lady who works there knows me and my apartment number (and James' name since he orders stuff too) by heart. Whatever, I like making friends :)
I've met a few peeps who "name colors" for a living and Bashful pumpkin is waaaay better than any of the drivel they come up with! :)
ReplyDeleteI love this color combo and OMG your belt is superb!
gorgeous color combination!!! you belt is adorable.i love the cardigan and top together.
ReplyDeleteWhen I used to live at my old apartment, my UPS guy knew me so well that he would wave to me as I walked on the street in a completely different part of town and stop and ask me if I wanted my package now. Embarrassing.
ReplyDeleteLOL @ down to 2 packages a week. I'm not any better than you, dont' worry :)
