well, well, well, will you look at who's back?

Heeeeey you guys! I know I said I would be back in August, but it turns out I needed a longer break than that. Also, I can be lazy.

The truth is, I didn't really feel a need to blog for the past few months. This is a "fashion" blog after all, where the bulk of the content is postings of my various Outfit(s) of the Day(s). Well, sad to say, my OOTDs have not been post-worthy as of late. Summer fashion is not my favorite, mainly because it is so boring. On me, at least. The searing Texas sun makes it perfectly clear that anything more than a t-shirt and jeans or billowy summer dress is an instantly regrettable decision. I can't even tell you how many times I tried to leave the apartment with so much as a closed toe shoe on and ended up cursing myself and losing about a gallon of body fluids in the form of sweat. Gross! So count me in as one of the people eagerly awaiting the return of cooler temperatures so I can wear something else for a change.

But, other than that, I have been busy settling in with Boyfriend in our new apartment (though it is not so new anymore). In fact, we just got our new dining room table delivered yesterday, which I am super pleased with. It looks perfectly charming with the bread I baked sitting on it. And it'll look even better once I get some chairs. At least I hope so. Now I'm pondering whether to get 6 matching dining room chairs or 6 different ones. Hmm...
