zebra zoo best friend cardigan, j.crew, $39.99
It arrived a few days ago and I love it! The print is super adorable and the length is perfection. It hits right at my hips. I ordered a size 14 in the cardigan and I'd say that it fits like an adult XS/S. I'm typically a size S/M in J.Crew tops, so while it still fits without danger of me Hulk-ing out once I flex my decidedly nonexistent muscles, it is definitely Button Pull City when I button it shut. It's a good thing I don't typically button my cardigans anyway.
I wore this outfit with the sweater last weekend and for whatever reason, I did not think to take a full-length front shot of my outfit while I was at Saks. But you get the idea and can see how the length of the cardigan looks on little ol' me.
allie flats, bcbg
printed silk scarf, vera bradley
literal zebra print!
I'm going to hit up my J.Crew store after work today. The last time I went to return some things, the SA told me that they're getting their new arrivals in today! Is it sad that I'm way more excited about this than I have any right to be? I'm also on hunt for some equivalents of my studded belt for one of my readers -- evidently, she ordered the pyramid studded skinny belt and found that there's a huge size discrepancy between my belt and hers! I'm surprised because they are both essentially the same style. Ah well, I'm on the lookout for you, Jennie!
Thanks so much for posting about the size. I always think about ordering from kids, but I've totally forgetten what kids sizes fit like. The cardi is soo cute!... and I love the scarf you paired with the outfit - so chic!
ReplyDeleteYou look so adorable in that cardi...love the print! I wish I could fit into kiddie clothes :)
ReplyDeleteI absolutely ADORE this cardigan! I may have to give it a shot! A 14 may be a bit too small, as I think I'm a little bigger than you and a solid Medium at J Crew. I'm off to see if it comes in a 16 or so :)
