These boots are amazing. I ordered them through Endless.com when they were having their "40% off all Steve Madden" special just a few days ago, so they were a steal! HECK YES. I love how they fit tight, but not too tight, and am completely smitten over the double-zipper side. A word of warning, though, the zippers jingle. A lot. When I wear these, it sounds like I have spurs on, which is a sound all Texans should be familiar with. I don't mind, but I know some others might. Amazingly, they also fit over my kind-of-bulky calves, which is a plus. For those who are interested, I would say these run TTS, since I got them in my regular size 7.
I know a few commenters asked about my nail polish, but forgetful me forgot to take pictures of my nails or look at the names of what I used. Sigh. I'll post about them tomorrow, along with information on my wreaths. STAY TUNED!
I LOVE this outfit on you! And though all Texans know what spurs sound like, I assure you, we don't all wear them :)
ReplyDeletePS: Love those adorable wreaths!
I just love these boots! I also like this orange skirt paired with navy...fun details. I was just browsing through your last few photos and I'm enjoying seeing more of your apartment and how you decorate. So cute!!
ReplyDeleteThis is adorable and so festive! I heart that necklace. Your description of the boots have jingle bells going through my head now.
ReplyDeleteThanks for the review on those boots. I've been looking for flat brown ones, and these look perfect! I'll definitely be checking them out. Flat boots are so convenient for shopping in winter in NYC! I really like the rest of the outfit too - so fun and happy looking!
ReplyDeleteAllison - Haha, we sure don't all wear them! But man oh man, have I heard a lot of spurred boots in my day!
ReplyDeleteLeah - Aww, thanks! I try my hardest to keep the place looking interesting, haha!
Tien - Well, it's my subliminal way of getting you in the holiday spirit, bwahaha!
Fatima - I'm glad I could help! I can imagine how much better flat boots are in a busy, pedestrian-heavy place like NYC!
ReplyDeleteOrange and navy is one of my favorite color combinations, so this outfit is a winner in my book. And I am in love with that necklace, such a statement piece!!! Is that a recent purchase?
ReplyDeleteCongrats on the boots, they look fantastic on you. Oh, and I love navy and orange, but I've never worn the combination in the winter. Thanks for creating such a great outfit and reminding me that this color combination is perfect any time of the year.

ReplyDeleteWe were kinda outfit twins today (I'll post mine tomorrow)...I wore my navy Blooming Lattice Cardigan and rust Thousand Days Skirt with my striped Old Navy top underneath :)
ReplyDeleteYou know, I put my Field Scout skirt away for the season, but seeing the way you are wearing it here makes me want to bring it back out into rotation! I love this look!
ReplyDeleteI love the navy and bright orange combo. Your pieces work so well together! And love your boots! I have a pair that clinks a bit as well, plus the heels are wood so clomp clomp clomp I go around the office :P
