too secretary?

I have a confession to make.

This OOTD is a lie.

I never wore it. Not in its entirety, at least.

I'm so ashamed.

I'm so sorry.

*sobs*

The truth is, I thought it looked too "secretary lady" after seeing the pictures, so I quickly swapped the pencil skirt and pumps for jeans and wedges. But what's weird is the fact that I know that while the photographed ensemble may have been too secretary lady for me today, that doesn't mean it won't seem pleasantly secretary lady for me some other day.

Curse my fickle mind!

Also, I absolutely love this blouse and its little neck bow. I can't figure out why I don't wear it more often...

    Gasp, how could you not wear such a cute, yet sexy outfit. I don't think there's anything wrong with a secretary-esque look if done in a hot mama kind of way. :)

    I love that blouse!! I had a tie-neck blouse from F21 that I absolutely loved. I'm pretty sure I got rid of it recently because I've grown (in size) since I first bought it and I still miss that pretty top.

    Sometimes I do that too after I take my outfit photo, swap out the cardi or shoes. I've never admitted it though :D I really like the top with the pencil skirt. I think it looks so professional.

    i love that blouse! i missed out on it when it went on sale. argh. oh well. i'll just live vicariously through you and other people :)
    and this is a great outfit! i love the little bit of yellow mixed in there. hmm at least you'll have a future reference for one of those days where you just can't seem to come up with an outfit?
