THE LUMBERJACK'S WIFE

I'm doing another plaid shirt with a skirt today, and I'm pretty pleased with the results. Now, I know this would be better with a heel, but after spending all of Saturday in heels for the holiday party, my feet refused to be slipped into anything other than my most comfortable of flats.

plaid ruffle shirt, f21
gray cardigan, lacoste
double-serge pencil skirt, j.crew [x]
black tights + pointelle tights, hue + j.crew
heart flats, diy
cummerbund belt, anthropologie
bracelet, american eagle
heart pave ring, coach

In other news, check out the 12 Days of Christmas feature that's going on every day until Christmas over at Little Girl Big Closet! Today's is Maria's "partridge in a pear tree" and it's super cute! I'll be doing Day 6 on Sunday, so stay tuned for that!

  2. Jessie - How tall are you? I'm 5'3" if you're looking to compare to estimate how long it'd be on you!

  5. Jessie - Hmmm, it might hit mid-thigh on you. Do you have a Macys near you? If so, you can always order it from there to try it on (or find it in the store!) and just return it to the store if it doesn't work out!

    triciathomas - Awwww, thanks!

  16. Yes, the plaid with ruffles is very cute. Looks great with a pencil skirt! I found a plaid tunic/dress (whatever it is) in my closet yesterday and might give it a wear tomorrow. You've really made me fall in love with plaid!

Tuesdays outfit is beautiful and I like flats with pencil skirts, esp. as adorable as the ones you are wearing, my heart melted (pun intended).
