DOING THE CARLTON

There's something undeniably preppy about a v-neck sweater over a button-down shirt. The addition of the tasseled loafers are just the icing on the proverbial cake. But even though I'm wearing all of these things, I don't feel preppy -- maybe it's the tattoo on my forearm destroying the illusion.

However, wearing this outfit does make me want to put on some Tom Jones and do the Carlton, so that has to count for something.

    i feel like i've had a lot of uber-preppiness going on recently and i love it! i went to an all-girls catholic high school so we thrived on preppy. you look so cute and i love the tassled loafers! ~ susan
