where is my jetpack?

Hi-diddly-ho, neighborinos! It's another silk shirt day with this jailhouse-striped top from Forever 21. I threw this all on in the morning because I was running late (story of my life) and jeans + blouse + cardigan seemed like the easiest thing to put together and the hardest thing to screw up. You could even say that it's one of my "oh lawd, '5 more minutes' of sleep turned into 20 more minutes and now I have to brush my teeth while I straighten my hair" uniforms of choice.

Someone ought to Photoshop a jetpack onto me in that second picture. That would be awesome.

Also, I hate how these jeans stretch out so much throughout the day. It's like I start each morning wearing normal pants, but after a work day of hardcore sitting -- which is the mortal enemy of denim, by the way -- I end it with a pair that's more ill-fitted than Ensign Pavel Chekhov's giant combover toupee. I mean, you can see them bunching up all around my legs in that first photograph. I'm surprised they didn't just drop to my ankles when I jumped (NIGHTMARE FUEL).

    I work at GAP, most if not all of our jeans stretch way too much (some as much as a full size) I always suggest sizing down if possible, I hate that they do this cause they always fit amazingly when you first put them on.

    Oh my gosh, I totally have that problem with Gap AND Loft pants. Like Anon suggested, I usually go down a size and while I feel a bit stuffed first thing in the morning, those bottoms usually are just fine by 9am. Damn that elastene or whatever they have in them. It's got it's good points, but come on! I'm going to admit that probably the best pair of skinny jeans I have come from F21 for a mere $10. They hold their stretch the entire day and I've even worn them 2 days in a row w/o saggy stretching!
