Does anyone else here hate ironing as much as I do? I. HATE. IT. Which is why my clothes are always wrinkly. Really. I'm convinced that if I didn't mind ironing, my clothes would never be wrinkled. It's like they wrinkle on purpose just to spite me. GRRRRR.
On another note, Christmas is only two weeks and one day away! AHHHHH.
Eeeep.

Such a darling look (and I don't iron either!)
ReplyDeletethe coat makes it!
ReplyDeletei love how you made the bow tie into a belt. super adorable !
ReplyDeleteCute. I dislike ironing too, and one of my cats is terrified of the ironing board (the squeaky noises it makes, I guess), so I feel bad taking it out. Good excuse to not iron, hehe.
ReplyDeleteAdorable! Hmm... I actually love ironing. I love hand washing my clothes, drying them, ironing them, and hanging them back up in my closet. I also love steaming. If I can get away with steaming, I'd prefer that to ironing.
ReplyDeleteYou are so good at making accessories! :) That's a great Delia's find too. I hate ironing so most of my clothes are of the non-iron-requiring type. I'm thinking of getting a steamer as that seems mildly more pleasant, but that seems like a chore too!
ReplyDeleteStylestance - Thanks!
ReplyDeleteMODG - Yup! It's a bit on the thin side, though, so I was pretty much freezing.
Nicole - Thanks!
tastymoog - Aww, poor kitty! I only have goldfish, and I don't think they care whether I iron or not, haha!
Tien - Wow, do you want to come over and do all of that for me? Haha! I don't mind washing or folding my clothes. It's the ironing that I loathe!
e. - Delias is pretty hit and miss. Sometimes, though, they come out with something super adorable. You'd think that I would buy clothes that don't need ironing too, but nope! All logic is lost on me.
oh yes...ready to slap my fork against the plate once more! you look so cute, and those shoes are FIRE! I love them!
ReplyDeletethe lighting looks fine. nice and bright to me.
BOO IRONING! I hate it, I never do it. I would rather wash an item again and pull it out of the dryer right as it's done than ever iron anything ever!
ReplyDeleteAnd you are so cute and colorful as ever!
I'm loving the shoes! And the bow tie on the belt. I'll have to try that one. I iron. It's an excuse to watch bad television.
ReplyDeleteI hate hate hate ironing! hate!!!! I'd rather wash and clean the toilet over and over again... seriously!
ReplyDeletevery cute outfit! i love love love the bow, it's so unexpected in terms of the color combination, but i just love how it stands out!
ReplyDeletep.s. "holy wrinkles batman" lol!!! i've never noticed wrinkles in your clothes! i know what you mean, i HATE ironing!
ReplyDeleteI love love love your coat! Whoa. I've been looking for the perfect mustardy "goldenrod" one myself. *makes grabby hands*
ReplyDeleteCan I tell you how much I LOVE the bow tie???
ReplyDeletei love anything with bows! props on inventing your own accessories, i wish i could do that :)
ReplyDeletehahaha, you're so funny. ironing?? hate it even more than you do, which is strange since most of the things I buy from jcrew wrinkle easily or need to be steamed. even with the poor lighting and clouds, i can see your lovely outfit. love that bow!!!!
ReplyDeletesuper cute outfit- I love that belt! (im wearing it myself in black today- and might, just might have to get the other color...)

I can't believe how much use you are able to get out of that bow tie!!! Whoda thunk it would be so versatile........I don't iron unless I absolutely HAVE to
ReplyDeleteOh jeez, that bow belt made from a bow tie just slays me -- adorable! And I want want your shoes, why are they sold out in my size? Anyway you are to cute for words, as usual.
ReplyDeleteIroning is one of my most favorite things ever. EVER. SO AMAZINGLY RELAXING!
ReplyDeleteIt's funny..ironing..looks like you either love it or hate it. I myself, prefer steaming and find it totally mesmerizing and meditative..until I burn myself. If you go for a steamer it's worth "investing" as the cheapo (read: hand held, drippy cheap things) are not worth it. I use a Jiffy (commercial type) and it's about 20 years old now..still works like a charm.
ReplyDeleteYour red dress looks GORGEOUS! Woot, woo.
Sorry to hear the Crinkle Cascade dress didn't work out. I caved and ordered the sandstone with the 30 off and it is divine. Don't ask where I am wearing it..does that really matter;)
Great blog! I just found it and love it!
