marching band stripes

I've missed you all over the weekend (I'm never home on the weekends) and came back to an inbox full of lovely emails! Thanks for making my Monday yesterday an awesome one! And keep those emails coming, I love answering your questions and just chatting it up in general. This blog community is the best!

The temperature is finally on the rise (knocks on wood) so I got to bust out some things that have been lying neglected in my closet. Like these F21 pieces, made in their thin, F21 ways so that wearing them when the temperature dips is best left to the types of people who go skinny dipping in the Arctic Circle.

striped dress, f21
twisted trooper sweater cardigan, f21
skinny studded belt, j.crew [x-ish]
black tights, xhilaration
'allie' flats, bcbg
'pave heart' ring, coach [x]
jacinda bag, kooba
leaf bangle, etsy (I forgot the seller)

I remember when I found this dress in the piles and piles of stuff at F21 last year. I never saw it online, and it was the only one of its kind in the particular pile I found it in, so unfortunately I don't know what it's called or anything. Hmmm.

With the weather hopefully warming up soon (maybe... maybe not), what are you all most excited to wear again once the winter chills are gone? I, for one, am super excited for sandals. SANDALS! HOW I MISS THEE! In fact, I got these lovely ones from Endless yesterday and they should arrive tomorrow:

'Village Slingback' sandals, MIA, $59.95

I'll tell you how they work out. Squee!

  3. I'm really liking the F21 dress that you have on! Is it sleeveless or short sleeved?
I have a love/hate relationship with that place -I need to be in right frame of mind to shop there, but I'm sure they'll have a ton of cute stuff for spring.

  12. Cute glasses! I love vertical stripes; they're so easy to wear. Horizontals are great and all, but sometimes I feel, I dunno, segmented in them. OMG, MIA shoes take me back to jr high. Those were *the* cool sandals to wear. Awesome pick!

  14. You look so adorable and love the way you paired both pieces!
I definitely feel you on having the weather dictate my choice in clothing. I'm ready for lighter clothes, but the bit of snow outside tells me otherwise.
