Well, you shouldn't, because it's not the first time I've worn it.
...it's the second time.
I admit that I completely forgot that I even owned this dress, thanks to the my own personal battle with Closet-geddon. But it has risen from the ruins to be worn another day!
Good thing too because this new belt goes smashing with the blue-green of the dress! I am in love with this belt, guys. I love the cool gray color that I got (pumice) and how it's a solid-colored belt, yet the braiding keeps it visually interesting without competing with the rest of my outfits. I've even worn it with my crazy plaid version of this dress (not pictured), and I highly recommend it! With the current "Extra 30% Off Summer Sale" event going on at J.Crew, this belt clocks in at about $20.65. Small change for something so awesome, methinks.

That shade of green is great on you! I tried to love the Reed Shirtdress (it's my last name!), but my boobies did not agree with the sizing. Le sigh.

ReplyDeleteThis dress is so perfect housewife, but in a good way of course. And braided belts are the best. I've had to tell myself not to buy anymore so I can have variety. It adds a nice contrast to your dress.
I'm contemplating a shirtdress, but they don't usually look as nice on me. :(
