6 GEESE A-LAYING AND A SECRET SANTA GIFT FOR MEEE

Hey guys! I just wanted to pop on over and let you know that my own little installment for Tara's 12 Days of Christmas is up! Go check it out HERE!

A little back story for the vignette, which is undoubtedly slightly morbid. When Tara first let me know that I was assigned to do the 6th day of Christmas, I started thinking, "Well, what do I know about geese? And geese that lay eggs?" Nothing, really. Except that I like to eat eggs.

Then I got to thinking that while I may not be noshing on a goose egg, perhaps my feathery friends would still find my choice of protein appalling.

Also, I got an awesome Secret Santa gift from Pamela of Ginger Girl (one of my favoritest bloggers!) last Friday! She sent me the most adorable bird-print scarf, and some delicious, delicious shortbread cookies. Boyfriend isn't a fan of shortbread, which means that I don't ever make or buy any, so this was a real treat. Thanks, Pam! And thanks to Peggy for hosting this fun exchange! I would've taken pictures of the packaging, but I was so excited that I decimated it before I realized, oops, should've taken a picture first... But you'll no doubt see the scarf's debut here soon.
