Guuuuuuuys. I woke up this morning with a sty on my upper eyelid. Grrrrrr. Luckily, it's not that bad I read that these things normally clear up within a week, so I'm crossing my fingers! But that also means you'll be seeing me in glasses for a solid week until it goes away.
With that being said, there's no OOTD today because I woke up and wasted precious picture-taking time by freaking out about the sty to Boyfriend.
"I look like Quasimodo!"
"No you don't."
He's a patient one.
So instead, here are some pictures from last Saturday's BoyBandPalooza, aka the New Kids on the Block and Backstreet Boys tour. Longtime readers of this blog know that I'm a diehard Backstreet Boys fan from my old wall decor of choice (I still have that poster -- it's just rolled up in my closet now until I can find a new home in my apartment for it), so how excited was I when this tour rolled into town? HINT: VERY EXCITED.
I miss those guys already.
I love how you unabashedly love BSB. I don't own any of their albums but they are totally a karaoke favorite.
ReplyDeleteJonathan Knight from NKOTB ... I used to <3 you ...
ReplyDeleteThis looks like sooo much fun....so jealous...I wish Nsync would do a reunion tour...I'd be all over that ;)
ReplyDeleteI went to the NKOTBSB concert too in Nashville. See my post at http://dressedupmom.blogspot.com/2011/06/ootd-tie-dye-and-boy-bands.html.
ReplyDeleteIt was a good show and I got to meet them!
Looks so much fun Amy! I used to hate bsb back in the day and refused to listen to them. But now that I'm older, well, their music sounds better to my ears!
ReplyDeleteI'm pretty positive that you're still beautiful, sty on the eye or not.
ReplyDeleteDon't they put on a GREAT show?! I had SO much fun when I saw them!
Come take a look inside A Working Mom's Closet
This concert SCEAMS you AmyK! So glad you were able to go.
ReplyDeleteI hate Sty's!!! I got one when I worked at the make up counter and had to go to the dr. who popped it because he said it was one of the biggest ones he had ever seen! I was not allowed to wear eye make up for a week. Not good for someone who sells make up as a job!
ReplyDeleteYikes, hope you feel better soon! That sounds like a real bummer. :(
ReplyDeleteHi there! I get sties all the time - the easy way to get rid of it is to apply hot water on your eyelid. I usually use a cotton ball and I hold a bowl of hot water right under my eye, and continually apply the dripping cotton ball to my eyelid - presto chango, the sty is gone!
ReplyDeleteAwwwe, I hope it goes away soon! My best friend just got one, too, from getting sanitizer hand gel in her eye. Thanks for sharing your photos, looked awesome!!
ReplyDeleteNice! NKOTB and Tiffany was the first concert I ever went to. Awesome.
ReplyDeleteI'm hosting a knuckle ring giveaway.
