This was thrown together at the last possible second. I have a bad habit of sleeping through my alarm, which I pay dearly for whenever I'm trying to get dressed because I can think is "jeans! sandals! shirt! jacket! DONE!" without thinking that maybe these jeans with those sandals make me look shorter than I already am, or that maybe a men's-style shirt paired with a boy's-style jacket might need a touch more femininity to balance it all out.
Lesson learned: Wake up on time and get dressed thoughtfully.
I think your loose hair, nails and accessories add a nice feminine touch!!
ReplyDeleteI can't get up on time for nothing either. I always say to myself that I should plan my outfits the night before, but that usually never happens. Maybe if you come up with 5 outfits before the week begins, then it will take less time to get ready. Maybe??
If it makes you feel any better, I got sick in the summer too. Over the 4th of July weekend. I'm a STAR.
ReplyDeleteI must you say you look much better than I do when I wake up late! I also love the jacket (I'm a fan of shopping in the kids' section every once in a while too.) Feel better!!
ReplyDeleteI'm so sorry you are not feeling well. That really does suck! :)
ReplyDeleteHowever, your nails are quickly pulled together outfit are smashing!! Hope you are 100% soon!!
So sorry you're sick, especially in the summer...at least you look adorable!
ReplyDeleteI love menswear, so I'm a fan of this look. You still look put together, despite the sickness & lateness. :)
ReplyDeleteSorry about your cold Amy...these things happen (even in summer - yes it's happened to me)! You're good at doing boy-style while maintaining your cute :-)
ReplyDeleteSummer sickness SUCKS. I somehow get a cold every single summer. What in the What?!
ReplyDeleteI love your hair!
