call me!

Dear Dress,

I hope you don't find this too forward, but I think I have a pretty big crush on you. Maybe you and I can get together some time and talk about how completely hot you'd look paired with the awesome red tights I just got. What say you?

Sincerely,
Amy Kelinda

PS. Your friend can come too:

  5. You may actually end up hating it, but every day when I read this site it seems like something you may be intrigued by...

(and no, I have no affiliation with the site...I am just intrigued by her outfits, even though they aren't my personal taste...she has a great way of putting things together)

  6. Angela - I love it! But I keep having this debate in my head that goes, "Do you REALLY need another party dress? How many parties do you even go to?!" The ShopRuche one is much more casual, though.

Christina - Ooo, lacey ballet flats sound cute! I saw some white lace ones on GoJane, and they were ADORABLE, but white lace on my feet sounds like a disaster waiting to happen.

Tres Tippy - ModCloth is hit and miss. I've ordered several times from there, and the fit/quality can be spotty, but the prices are generally great and the designs are so unique!

    Tastymoog - Don't encourage me!

Sarah - Thanks for the link! She does have a great knack for putting outfits together, although I'll need a 1000% boost in confidence to pull those things off! I love how she calls them her "costumes of the day," haha!

  8. And here I was thinking that I'm the only person talking to random things including my wardrobe! You're too funny girl! And those dresses are super adorable!
Oh, by the way, I left you something on my blog :-)

  10. Kristin - Ooo, you better not cheat on me, dress! Haha!

Tatiana - Awww, thanks for the gift! You're too sweet! I'll do a post on it in the morning (I'm writing this at midnight, yikes!) And I talk to inanimate objects all the time! I have a habit of saying "sorry" whenever I run into things like tables. It's weird!

Patina - I want it to be mine!

  13. Okay, I've loved your blog for sometime but I think my feeling just grew after reading your love letter to the dress. I "write" imaginary letters to clothing, buses, food all the time. Glad to know I'm not alone! I'm sure the dress and her friend are dying to rally with you. :)

  14. Chloe - Oh, I have yet to get a reply. They may be playing hard to get, haha!

OneFashionistaDiva - Haha, isn't it?? I may make a move soon, but I'll have to see if my bank account can take it! Oh, unrequited love!

Rosemary - Hahaha, I'm glad I'm not the only one! We could start a club called "Writing to Inanimate Objects Anonymous."
