LITTLE STRIPED RIDING HOOD

Today is one of my dear coworker's last day in the office because she's moving, so I've got to dash and join everyone for a farewell lunch. But, before I skidattle:

dress, anthropologie
striped cardigan, gift
leatherette accent belt, f21
black tights, hue
allie flats, bcbg
eiffel tower necklace, f21
duchess cocktail ring, j.crew

I got some awesome comments yesterday about some of the products I use, so here are two of the items in question! To answer fshnonmymind, my nail polish is the shade "Dream On" from Sinful Colors. I got it from Walgreens! It dries matte though, so I put some shiny topcoat on from Essie.

To answer cupidoll, I use Revlon's ColorStay liquid liner. I've used a few liquid liners in my time -- both "brand name" and drug store types -- and this one remains my favorite. It goes on easy and even and stays put throughout the whole day!

Finally, to answer Scarlet, I'll try and post a hair tutorial soon. It's tricky because I do my hair in the mornings when Boyfriend's still asleep so there's no one to take pictures, but maybe I can get some snaps of the process over the weekend! It's pretty simple, though!

Have a great weekend everyone, and see you all next Monday!

  6. Echoing others, you look great in red! I have no make up/hair routine, I'm always in awe of girls like you who look great everyday, hair, nails, make up all in place. I take care of my skin, and that's about it. Thanks for sharing!

  7. Little Red Riding Hood, beware of the BIG BAD WOLF! Red really suits you, must be an Asian thing 'coz my whole family looks great in red. And when it's CNY, it's a Red-out, lol.

  14. I use liquid liner everyday so I'll have to try this one. It's hard to find one that works well.

  15. That necklace is so, so adorable. I love it and your outfit is styled to perfection...the color, the accessories, everything. The cardigan is so pretty and works so well with the color of the dress. Last year you taught me the importance of adding pops of color with belts. This year I'm going to incorporate more color into my wardrobe as you do.
