I heard from a friend this morning that Boston (and the entire Northeast in general) (actually, the entire North in general) is getting pummeled by snow. I hope everyone up there stays safe and warm! This is the first year I'm not in Boston for these snow storms, so I'm very thankful to be here in Texas where all we get in February are chills. Bundle up, folks!
Did you get that necklace recently? I have seen this necklace all over the blogs and I thought it was from Anthropologie. I must have it!
ReplyDeleteGirl, your cost per wear is going to be so low, and that's a good thing! If I had this skirt, I would wear it all the time, too. :)
ReplyDeleteOoh, yellow with purple is one of my favorite color combos! How pretty! And uhh...yeah, I live in dc/northern va- we got about 30 inches this past weekend, and are geared for another 12-20 inches between yesterday and today. I can't even let my dog out to pee, the snow accumulation's several feet taller than him already, poor guy :(
ReplyDeleteI think Atlanta got flurries for about 3 minutes, so my sympathy goes out to those in the NE and Mid-Atlantic.
ReplyDeleteThat skirt looks stunning on you, Amy.
love LOVE the color combo and the skirt! i wish i had gotten it!
ReplyDeletequestion: can you pls tell me how this skirt runs in terms of fit? thank you. :)
ReplyDeleteGFS - I got the necklace from F21 last year, unfortunately. But I did see some in stock again at my F21 store this year, so maybe you can still find it! It's a knock-off of an Anthro necklace, haha!
ReplyDeletetastymoog - You are so right about the cost per wear, haha!
Tara B - 30 inches of snow. No, that sounds unreal. How do you live?! I remember getting 12 inches of snow and flipping out because I had to wait for hours to be dug out (I lived in the basement in Boston and the door I used to get out was snowed shut). Poor doggy, too! He must be going nuts being cooped up
Lisa - Thanks! Man, this snow is everywhere, it seems!
Lauren T - Maybe you'll catch a good deal on ebay, as soon as those pesky price gougers scram!
Anon - I got this in a size 6, and I typically wear size 6's in skirts, so I'd say it fits TTS! I have a very large bum and hips, though, and the skirt fits really easily over them, so it *may* be more loose on others? It's a straight cut, too, so there's plenty of room to move around in. I hope that helps!
That skirt looks so good on you! And the green from the necklace goes so well with it.
ReplyDeletehi there! thanks for the sizing info. i just ordered it from one of your fellow blog readers! the skirt looks awesome on you and made me want it!! :)
ReplyDeleteGirl I am loving that skirt. I tend to stay away from things that emphasize my hips because they are kind of wide but this skirt is just so adorable!
ReplyDeletei would've never expected you to pair the honey skirt with a purple plaid! it's great! :)
ReplyDeleteI love the combo of the skirt and necklace. Both colors complement each other so well and I also really like the cut of the skirt.
ReplyDeleteLOVE!!
ReplyDeletethat necklace is absolutely STUNNING. im totally jealous- but you're rocking it girl!

ReplyDeleteYou make me die a little every time you wear that skirt! I missed out on it SEVERAL times, serves me right. You look super adorable, darlin'! I need to take some color-mixing pointers from you since I am almost always tone-on-tone these days!
ReplyDeletelove that necklace!

I'm loving all the colors you're rocking in this outfit! I haven't given much though to the purple/yellow combo (it reminds me too much of the Lakers!), but I like how it's paired with green necklace.
ReplyDeleteWhat a beautiful statement necklace! The green is divine!

I love that skirt and the way you mix it up with lots of colors! Great outfit
ReplyDeleteUm, you look simply adorable. I'm seriously on the hunt for it, seriously seriously. Will have to update you soon. Love you you paired the shirt and necklace together; I've got the red version of the shirt, gotta love Gap sometimes!
ReplyDeleteyour skirt is too cute! and i love your necklace :)
ReplyDeleteThat skirt is lovely--I am all for wearing it more often! :) You have a great eye for mixing unexpected colors...and I love the plaid shirt mixed in. I never know how to wear plaid shirts because they tend to look too masculine on me if I wear them with default jeans...maybe next time I'll try with a pretty skirt.
ReplyDeleteOoooh...I like the mustard with the plaid.
